If people are looking outside of themselves for happiness and to feel good which changes their feelings, they are not able to have self-love and are looking in the wrong place for validation, self-worth, and love. Drugs of any description are often the choice to compensate for this void in their life.
As a recovered alcoholic for 28 years and off all prescription drugs for over 12 years, I know a drug is a drug is a drug. Legal or illegal, pills, smoking, or liquid, they are toxic, poisonous chemicals that distort rational thinking and suppress emotional trauma. When a person’s biological body digests a drug, the body does not differentiate that this person is black, poor, or emotionally maladjusted. It does change your thinking, feelings, and behavior over time to become more selfish while more depressed, irrational, angry, and even suicidal over time.
Like everything else on the planet that is life altering, the drug use in any society plays an energy part that is appropriate. Some call it the tempter. In any good screenplay, there is often the choice of giving away one’s power to Earthly desires, or to the integrity of what is seen as correct and good. This is a classic story.
You would not have contrast in your life tests, if these options
did not exist. Therefore, indeed, it plays an appropriate and correct part of Earth’s cycle of choices. The choice of light and dark is often muddied with desire. Such is the way of things, and of the complexity of choice.
The good news is that for every choice that would create a life of addiction and sorrow, there is power available to solve it. There is no temptation given to a person that does not also have a solution of equal power on the same divine selection tray. The Human who lifts himself out of the darkness is the one who will shine a light that is brighter than the others are. Then you begin to understand why the test is the way it is.
Blessed are the people who co-create healing for the substances that enslave them and spoil their health. For this will often be the
lighthouse that leads many others to the safe harbor of solution and
reconciliation in the harmony of life. My forthcoming book, “Paradigm Busters, Revealing the Real You” explains this dilemma with a solution that brings sanity.
