Wildlife conservation must form the integral part of the forest management. For this great public awareness and people’s participation must be promoted.
The national goal of having at least 33% of forest cover area in the country must be to be fulfilled.
The present trend in favor of production forestry for industrial use must be reversed. The concept of privatization of forest areas is not conductive in the Indian context.

Development of the villages in and around the forest areas should be consists with the need for ecological conservation.
