London – January 29, 2016 – The winners of the UK & Ireland 2015 Employee Engagement Awards were announced last night in London. They represent the new breed of businesses that are leading the way in delivering the best employee experience. They include famous brands like AIB, LV=, National Express; education and healthcare bodies like the University of Sheffield and the NHS Business Services Authority and, smaller but equally committed businesses such as Elan Hair.
At the gala awards dinner in London, hosted by Danny Wallace, businesses large and small, local and multi-national, gathered to hear who would be announced as this year’s winners. Brands from BMW to Tesco, Barclays to Nationwide, Warburtons to Malmaison, Arriva to National Express celebrated the achievements of both the winners and the shortlisted organisations.
Matt Manners, founder of the Employee Engagement Awards said: “Last year I was blown away by the standard set in this country and the bar has been raised again. Our panel of esteemed judges saw a step change in the quality and innovation in the Employee Engagement programmes delivered. So much so that we felt it imperative to recognise more brands than usual to inspire other businesses to follow their lead and continuously improve an employee’s experience and feel the benefits throughout the organisation. Many congratulations to our Reward Gateway Company of the Year – Tata Consultancy Services.
“I believe competition to be healthy and recognition vital. We hope these awards are creating a healthy competition across businesses in the UK, and the world, to keep taking employee engagement to the next level. This year’s entrants have provided powerful proof of how investing in employee engagement translates to very tangible business value.”
Glenn Elliott, Founder & CEO at Reward Gateway, “We’re so excited to be supporting the Employee Engagement Awards and helping to showcase the winner of their prestigious Company of the Year award.
