Fire Brigade approved for Drosh area.

CHITRAL: A new brand Fire Brigade was approved and sent to Drosh Tehsil for fire extinguishing at Drosh area. Tehsil Nazim Chitral was chief guest on the occasion. In this connection a simple but prompt function was also held at Drosh. Haider Abbas Nazim Union Council Drosh –II was stage Secretary while the ceremony was presided over by Al-Haj Khurshid Ali Khan former Chairman District Council and Nazim UC   Drosh_II.Addressing to the Key hand over ceremony of new Fire Brigade Sartaj Ahmad Khan Tehsil Nazim Chitral said that this fire brigade was approved after a long struggle and new its registration, staff appointment, fuel and other requirement are still pending which will be completed in near future. He said that some 2.8 million rupees have been allocated for maintenance of Drosh Bazar and you should to operate the Fire Brigade on volunteer basis until its proper staff not appointed. Sub Asalm, Zahir Khan President Tehsil Drosh of PML Q, Khurshid Ali Khan, Syed Muzaffar Jan President ANP Chitral and other also spoke on the occasion.  It is worth to mention here that so many times fire gutted shops and markets at Drosh area but due to no fire brigade the local people could not control fire timely.

Mumtaz Ali Jan Chitral Driver Union also assured for his full support and deputing a driver for Fire Brigade on Volunteer Basis in case of no appointment of driver for this purpose. The speakers criticized food departments for sending here expire and sub standard quality wheat. Leaders of all political parties stressed upon concentrated jointly on development of the area irrespectively of party affiliation. President of Trade Union handed over key of Fire Brigade to Abdul Mahmood Driver a volunteer of the area. Meanwhile Tehsil Nazim also announced of grant of rupees 60000 for Driver Welfare fund and announced that one or two percent of tax collecting will be donated to this fund; he also stressed on drivers to put their share and donate some fund for this purpose.

Woman committed Suicides.

A woman committed suicides in Khot village of Tehsil Torkho. According to police report Zubaida Bibi wife of Hayat Muhammad Khan resident of Khoth hanged her self in her house and suicides. She had married hence having no children and having some squab with her families. She hanged her self with a rope and suicides. Police Station Shah gram has registered a case and started investigation.
