Woman Suicides at Chitral, Philonthropists Appeal to support deserving patients

 

 

Woman Suicides by Jumping in Chitral River.

CHITRAL: A woman jumped at Torkhow river and suicides. She is telling an abnormal person. According to detail Suraya Bibi Daughter of Mushraf Khan jumped in Torkoh River at jurisdiction of Shahgram and lost her life. Her dead body was recovered from the River and was laid to rest. Her mental condition was not correct and is telling abnormal.

Philanthropists appeals to support oppressed and needy patients.

 

CHITRAL:  A pity help and support can save life of needy and deserving people if we spare only 5% of our expenditures for needy and poor people we can save and support thousands of such helpless people who can,t arrange their treatment said Miss. Gul Shad District Program Manager Volunteerism of NCHD (National Commission for Human Development.) while talking to local journalists at NCHD office. She said there are so many people who sleeping without any meal but on the other hand some people using extraordinary unnecessarily. District Volunteer Forum (DVF) of NCHD Chitral is the only plate form who provides free treatment, free medicines and donating free blood to needy and helpless patients of Chitral. Briefing about the progress of DVF she said that this forum have donated blood to 60 patients as 85 patients were given free medicines. As well as volunteer counter at District Headquarters Hospital Chitral guided 1000 patients regarding different sections of hospital and facilitated them in X-Ray, Laboratory Tests etc. she said that the volunteer desk having three main objectives to help in donating free blood to poor patients. Transportation of dead bodies and provision of free medicines to poor and deserving patients she added.

 

NCHD was granting some honorarium to two persons working at volunteer counter @ 1500 to each and now NCHD appeal the general public to adopt these desks to bear its expenditure like honoraria of volunteers working at this desk.  She said Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) Haji Ghulam Muhammad offered to adopt these desks for two months by paying the staff. Medicines worth 72000 were collected by local philanthropists and were distributed among the needy patients by these volunteer desks. She appeal local and non local all philanthropists to send their donations and charity to Account number 10143-7 at the Bank of Khyber Chitral Branch so as to enable them to continue support and free treatment of hundred of poor and deserving patients who can,t bear their treatment at their end.
