Women urged on skill development center for enhancement of their life standard.
CHITRAL: A meeting of female members of 3 Star Skill Development Organization Tooq Hazrat Abad Tehsil Mastuj was held here under the Chair Miss Shaira Naz Manager of the organization at her residence. All the female members participated the meeting. The female members discussed various issues conflicting to women folk. They also debates on enhancement of life standard of local women by imparting them different skill and providing equal opportunity of employment and gaining their livelihood. The members hailed services of 3 star skill development center Tooq Hazrat Abad of Mastuj Tehsil who trained more than 782 female in different handicrafts, sewing and embroidery. The members also discussed regarding sky rocketing prices of essential commodities and less resources of local inhabitants. The female members also pointed the issue that the present 3 star skill development center is very less capacity and need a large center for the students and trainees.
Where they will be imparted training in sewing, knotting, handcrafting, embroidery, cooking, fruit processing, Business development and designing. The members passed an unanimous resolution through a resolution they demanded from Federal, Provincial government, Non Governmental Organizations and donors agencies to support the local women folk through 3 star skill development organization and center financially to hire a beg office for this purposes. They also demanded for suitable location and one display center, arrangement for free training with free material to poor, needy and deserving girls and women of the area. They also appeal for financial support from this organization to enable them to capable the young generation to gain their livelihood with a best and fair means. It is worth to mention here that the Skill Development center is running on self help basis since 1996 who plaid vital role in women empowerment by giving them opportunities of self employment and giving them different trainings.
