Women facing domestic violence due to their male drug addiction

the increasing number of illigal drug use among the local youth created very difficult situation for the chitrali women being a mother, sister, or wife. the local medical shops are regularly providing illigal sleeping pills to the youth. the local alchol providers are getting active now adays. due to which the women in area are facing domestic violence at home. in this month of january 2008, 5 women committed sucide in Chitral district. the district police administration is playing a silent role at the moment. there is no one who can band the medical stores providing these illigal drugs to the local chitrali youth and distrying them.  the women of chitral is placing there appeal to the international community for help and support.
