Stirring up trouble in the Church of Christ Jesus is not a very popular thing to do at the best of times.
But, there are times when Our Father God, through the Holy Spirit, compels me to write an article to right a wrong, and when I write it, it stirs up a hornet’s nest like you wouldn’t believe.
This is going to be one of those times.
This is not going to be a very popular topic for me to address, but address it I must, for Almighty God has called me to do so, and when Almighty God through the Holy Spirit says write about this or that, you gotta know I will do as God wills me to do.
Either the Holy Bible is the Holy Word of Almighty God and is to be taken seriously, or, it becomes a joke. We cannot and should not pick and choose which parts of it we choose to follow, and which parts we can choose to ignore.
If God is God, and if The Holy Bible is God’s teachings for mankind, then every word in it has purpose to teach and instruct, and no true Christian has the right to second guess God or to ignore or alter God’s teachings God’s commands, regardless of whether they come from Almighty God, or, Christ Jesus, or, from the Apostle Paul or any other of the Apostles.
The women of Christ’s Church will not like this, and I’m certain will hate to read this article, but facts are facts, and God’s Holy Word, is, God’s Holy Word, like it or not.
What does the Holy Word of God, The Holy Bible say about a woman’s role in the Church?
Specifically what does the Holy Word of God say about women being Ministers and Pastors and addressing The Church, The Congregation.
The answer can be found in the following Holy Scripture:
I CORINTHIANS: 14: 33-36;
“For God is not a God of disorder but of peace. ( As in all the churches of the saints, women should be silent in the churches. For they are not permitted to speak, but should be subordinate as the law also says. If there is anything they desire to know, let them ask their husbands at home. For it is shameful for a woman to speak in church. Or, did the “Word of God” originate with you? Or, Are you the only ones it has reached? )”
The Apostle Paul is specifically chosen and anointed by Jesus, to reach out to Jew and Gentile alike wherever he might travel, in this case he is addressing the Greek Brethren in Corinth Greece. As a chosen and appointed Apostle of Christ Jesus, his words, would be Holy Spirit inspired and not just the ravings of just anyone.
Paul makes it perfectly clear that women should be silent in the Church, yet today we find women as Ministers, and as Pastors believing that their work is ordained by God and by Jesus when in fact they should be silent.
I know that in today’s churches, women are taking active roles, but is this what should be happening, or should we be adhering to Almighty God’s teachings and applying what Paul wrote in; I Corinthians: 14: 33-36.
Are men that scared of their wives? or, Are men becoming that lazy when it comes to doing God’s work, that they schlep it off to the women now?
