Work-life balance is important.

If your work-life is out of balance,you are likely to suffer from stress.

The companies outsources or move more jobs to reduce labor costs,and people are pressured to work longer shifts and produce more,just to protect their jobs.

Work continues around the world 24 hours a day for some people.

If you are working in an international company,maybe you can get calls around the clock for troubleshooting or advice.

Advanced communications technology.

Many people have the opportunity to work anywhere – from their home,from their cars,and even on their vacations.

Longer working hours.

Employers are asking their employees to work more hours than is schelduled.Overtime is often obligatory.

If you hope to climb higher up on the career ladder,you may find yourself in that regularly work more than 40 hours a week.

Consider the pros and cons of working extra hours.

Fatigue.

Your ability to think and your eye-hand coordination decrease when you are tired.

That means that you are less effective and therefore less productive.And in this situations,it is easy to do misstakes.

If you regular work overtime,you can get more responsibility.

This can create a perpetual vicious circle that causes more problems and challenges.

Sometmes it is important to work overtime.If you work for a company that requires mandatory overtime,you can not avoid it.

But you can learn to manage it.The most important you can do,is to say no,beacuse you are tired,when it affects your health,or if you have personal things to do that can not wait.
