Srinagar-Kashmir, December 7(Vijay Kumar) – World renowned artist Terra Naomi perform programme on Monday in Srinagar in Kashmir on “Climate Change.”
A Solo Musical Performance concert was held at SKICC on “Climate Change” by World renowned artist Terra Naomi to aware the people about the hazardous effects of Global warming through Musical concerts. The special performance of the song “Say It Is Possible” by Terra Naomi accompanied by Waheed Jeelani, Kashmiri Choras and Orchestra was the main highlights on the occasion.
Minister for Tourism and Culture Nawang Rigzin Jora, Minister of State for Tourism and Culture Nasir Aslam Wani, Mayor, Srinagar, Salman Sagar, media fraternity and a large number of people were present on the occasion.
The programme was organized by Mercy Corps in association with J&K Tourism Department, EMC of Kashmir University.
Terra Noami presented various songs and her magical voice enthralled the audience. The Kashmir translation “Ye Chu Bilkul Mumkin” of “Say It Is Possible” by Waheed Jeelani also enthralled the audience.
Earlier, in the concert, Tera Naomi along with the Ministers interacted with the media about the objectives of organizing such concert on climate change. She said artists have no boundaries and added that the main purpose to come Kashmir Valley was to aware the world that the valley is also getting affected due to Global Warming.
On the occasion, Ministers appreciated the efforts of Terra Naomi for organizing such events on climate change and added that she is the real artist who is conscious about alarming effect of Global Warming and is awaring the people world over regarding this.
