Today 27 players meet in Las Vegas with visions of a return in November. If they do not finish in the top nine today they will be eliminated, take a check for $352,832 to $896,730 and their World Series Of Poker 2009 is over.
However if all goes well and they finish in the top nine they will return in November, play for the Championship, and leave with $1.2 to $8.5 Million depending on where they finish.
Sort of a no- lose day for all!
Currently Darvin Moon is chip leader and sitting at the same table with one of the best players in the world Phil Ivey. Knowing Phil he will give it his best shot and this could be a classic!
