… and the ‘Worst internet provider in Brazil’ Award 2011 goes to… NET!
The decision to award NET with this special prize wasn’t taken lightly. MyNewLifeInBrazil.com wanted to reward NET’s exceptional accomplishments in providing a service they are paid for and NET’s exceptional Customer Service. (read: Episode 71 & Episode 72 to understand…)
NET has recently demonstrated a passionate and genuine lack of interest in the values of Customer Service; a policy that the company should definitely be encouraged to promote all over Brazil.
When a problem occurs with the internet connection and one of its customer calls NET’s call centre, the company’s response will always be to do its best to listen to the frustration of the customer, ignore the situation and waste the customer’s time by presenting him with a resolution on the matter that has nothing to do with the actual case. This is First-Class Customer Service performed at its best. It should be taught in every Customer Service training school as a model.
Emphasis onto the human element is the least of NET’s worry and, once again, it should be noted that through the lack of interest for its customers, NET is paving the way to succeed in having one of the most amazing customers’ satisfaction rating.
NET’s commitment to providing the worse internet connection service ever, even though its customers are paying for it, is something that we can only see as a great means of making money for nothing. If providing less than 1 Mega when the customers pay for 5 Mega is something unthinkable to many, NET says: “Yes, we can!”
Finally, through this award, we wanted to make everyone in Brazil applaud NET’s incomparable efficiency, amazingly kindness and customer friendliness.
Well done NET for being the worst!
