Writers in Exile condemns ‘Hate and break India’ campaign of Kashmiri Secessionists

Jammu, October 25 (Scoop News) -Writers  in  Exile today expressed their displeasure and dismay over the open indulgence of the famed author of “God of Small Things” Arundhati Roy in the ‘hate and break India’ campaign of Pakistan sponsored Kashmiri Muslim Secessionists.

                                          Writers  in  Exile  in a meeting of creative writers, poets, artists, and other cultural luminaries in exile from Kashmir here disapproved her advocacy of “Azadi for Kashmir from India and India’s Azadi from Kashmir” theory. Members ridiculed Arundhati Roy’s plea that India is a ‘Bhookha Nanga Hindustan’ and as such we need to support the Kashmiri secessionist to secede from India.

                                The writers present in the meeting said that instead of exhibiting her impartiality and human heart towards the victims of violence, hatred, terror, death and destruction perpetrated by Pakistan sponsored terrorists in the Kashmir Valley, Arundhati Roy has brazenly come out in support of orchestrators of the violence in Kashmir.

               The writers condemned her seditious utterances in recently held seminars at Delhi and Srinagar, seemingly under conspiracy to give Kashmir-Issue an international hype in view of US president Barrack Obama’s visit to India. At the same time she appears to consciously provoking Indian state to put her behind bars so that she becomes future aspirant for Noble Peace Prize.

                                     Literatures questioned her knowledge and comprehensive study of Kashmir history. Its irony that in the prevailing political scenario in the country the pseudo-seculars, leftist writers, intellectuals and so called human rights activists have always chosen to ignore the forced exodus, ethnic cleansing and genocide of the lakhs of Kashmiri Pandits at the hands of Islamist terrorists since the onset of militarized fundamentalism in the Kashmir Valley.  

                             Arundhati Roy and her ilk should know that the writers, poets, playwrights, short story writers have immensely produced creative literature in exile which addresses the core issue of exodus, its implications and the apathy and neglect of the apologists of the blood thirsty jehadis.

                  Those eminent writers present in the meeting included Moti Lal Kemmu, R L Shant, M K santoshi, S S Toshkhani, Agnishekhar, M L Aash, Sanjana Kaul, P N Shaad, Kuldeep Saproo, Kshama Kaul, Sunita Raina, MK Bharat, B N Betab, Maharaj Shah, Pyare Hatash and Shyam Bihari.
