Writing articles includes a systematic approach which allows writer to write effectively.
First a writer should determine the topic he/she intends to write or what he is going to write. The writer should think what could be the title of the article and what heshe wants to say about the topic. The title of the article should be appealing and catchy to the eyes of the readers.
The writer should also consider what type of readers the article caters. It may include the age bracket of the readers or might be their social status.
After having to know the topic and the preferred readers, the writer should conduct a research for the particular topic. The writer should know the topic well; it could be done by studying and analyzing the research materials. The research sources could be the magazines, books, periodicals or the internet but the writer should make sure that the sources are credible.
The writer should also decide how long the articles could be. The article could be 200 words 300 or up depending upon the writer’s decision.
After deciding the length of the article, the writer should now create an outline of the planned article. An outline will help the writer to organize the ideas heshe wants to say. The outline will also organize the way information is presented.
Outlining means to organize the information based upon the order of what the writer want to say and based upon the level of importance of the information. This could be now the bases of the article and it should contain exactly what the writer want to say about.
Base from the outline, the writer should now write the rough draft or the preliminary writings. After having the rough draft written as preliminary writing, it should be checked with some possible faulty information. Things such as contradictory information should be checked and eliminated.
It is also important to check for the grammar and spelling errors of the article’s content. After having this all, the finished article should be read in order to determine weather the text of the article runs smoothly and if it really implies what the author wants to say.
