Yahoo! Inc. has come up with a completely new platform, Shine. It is a website, exclusively for Women folk. It has almost everything, that a women might need online. Basically, it deals in topics such as parenting, sex and love, healthy living, food, career and money, entertainment, fashion, beauty, home life, and astrology.
Shine is mainly targeted towards women of the women between the ages 25 and 54 and is called a key demographic underserved by current Yahoo properties.
A small and simple question?? Why did Yahoo! suddenly think of women? It has sites targeted towards almost every group – Sports, Finance and even Kids. The women were left out.
