Srinagar, June 12 (Scoop News)- A 25 member delegation of Youth All India Kashmiri Samaj (YAIKS), led by its President R. K. Bhat this afternoon called on Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah here and discussed various issues pertaining to the welfare of the community and its return back to the valley.
The Administrative Secretaries of the Revenue and the Law Departments were present in the meeting besides other concerned officers.
The Chief Minister gave patient hearing to all the points raised by the KPs delegation and asked the concerned officers to take urgent action on the issues raised by the delegation.
R.K. Bhat, called on N.N. Vohra, Governor, here at Raj Bhavan.Bhat informed the Governor about the various difficulties faced by the Kashmiri migrants living in Camps and raised demand for the urgent implementation of the State Cabinet’s decision to appoint the already selected Kashmiri migrant candidates against the de-reserved posts advertised under the Prime Minister’s Employment Package for Kashmiri migrants.
The Governor assured the delegation that he would take up their demand with the Chief Minister.
