Human Rights demanded for judicial inquiry in girl murder case
CHITRAL: President Legal Aid Forum for Human Rights Chitral (LAFH) Abdul Nasir demanded for judicial inquiry and taking stern action against killing of innocent girl. According to police a young girl Zuhria daughter of Haji Nazir resident of Sweer Drosh some 60 KM from here was married to Norrullah at Peer Sabaq Nowshera 2 years back. She was continuously torturing by her husband and they had no mutual understanding and harmony. She also set for 9 moths at her parent house soon after her married who quarreled with her husband. Last month she was shifted by her father Haji Nazir to her husband house but the merciless husband tomahawks his wife and hit with a heavy axe on her head, neck, mouth and back as a result she succumbed to her injuries and died before reaching hospital. He dead body was taken to her native town Sweer Tehsil Drosh and was laid to rest at her ancestral grave yard. President LAFH Abdul Nasir expressed his deep grief over this sad incidence and demanded for judicial inquiry and giving exemplary punishment to cruel husband who killed his wife so mercilessly. Accused Noorullah was arrested by local police and case registered against him under section 302 of Pakistan Panel code. The deceased Zuhra had marred 2 years ago and having no children. It is worth to mention here that deceased Zuhria was also Hafizi Quran and her husband is telling a religious cleric. Reasons behind her murder could not ascertained until filling of this report.
District Football tournament 2009 continue 2 teams selected for Final match in semi final.
CHITRAL: District Football tournament 2009 is continue at parade ground of government centennial model high school Chitral. Ameerulla a PPP leader and Nazim union council Charun was chief guest on the occasion of semi final match. He also announced 5000 cash awards for football association. In the first match of semi final Goaldoor football team defeated Chitral Club football team. Score remained equal until last time hence Goldoor won the math on penalty decision thus Goldoor scored 7 goals and Chitral Club team scored 6 goals. Chief guest shacked hands in introduction session.
And Gooldoor qualified for final match. In second match Oveer football team contested against Mughulandeh football team. Oveer team scored 2 goals while Mughulandeh success to score only one goal and thus Oveer team wont the match than Mughulandeh and qualified for final match in semi final. Thousands of spectators were present in the play ground to enjoy the matches. Tehsil Nazim Chitral Sartaj Ahmad and other UC Nazimeen were also present on the occasion. District Football association president Tajud Din was also present on the occasion.
