Your Accuser, Who Will It Be?

We have all as Christians, stood face to face with another Christian brother or sister, or an unconverted, unbaptised, Gentile, waving that accusing finger, and warning that they should beware, because there will come a day when they will be standing before their creator, to account for their life-actions, or in-actions, their sins. We do this to bring to their attention that there is something in their life that is not in accordance with God, Jesus, and the Bible, to help them to see the error of their ways and correct it, confess it and repent.

How many of you are preachers, pastors, ministers, ministering to both the converted and the unconverted, and you’ve stood there in the Pulpit, on a Sunday morning service, or maybe you are a Sunday School minister, teaching the youth of the congregation and you’ve talked to them about that day, trying to be their conscience awakener?

This usually takes place to awaken sinners to instil fear of "The Wrath of God" into those who might need a little shaking up, in order to get them to mend the error of their ways, to teach them that confession is good for their souls, and that repentance is necessary to cleanse their spirit and set things right with God. For a child, or for the unconverted though this can be a frightening, traumatic experience. Especially for a child, it causes them to think, hey I’m a sinner, but I have a lifetime to live and chances are I will sin or do something bad every day, I’ll never be able to be sinless, to please God. Fact of the matter is though, Our God is a loving God, and Jesus is a loving and caring redeemer who would never display wrath towards a human for love is what God and Jesus is all about.

Knowing this begs the question then: Who will be your accuser? Who will be your judge?

Even though I am a Christian Catholic, My Holy Bible and word of God and Jesus is the King James Version. I sorta like the "thees" and "thous" and "thines" in it.

Jesus speaks to the people telling them the following: JOHN 5: 45 "Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father, there is (one) that accuseth you even Moses, in whom ye trust." JOHN: 6: 37 "Judge not and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven."

Jesus speaks to the adultress: JOHN 8: 10-11 "Woman where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? She said, No man Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more."

Jesus spreaks to his Apostles: MATTHEW: 7: 1-2 "Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgement ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again." JOHN: 3: 16 "For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him, should not perish, but have everlasting life." JOHN: 3: 17-18 "For God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved. He that beleiveth on Him is not condemned:"

If Jesus himself, who has every right to accuse or condemn us of our sins, according to Scripture, is not the one to be our accuser or condemner, then who?

The apostle Paul teaches us in: ll CORINTHIANS: 5: 14-21 "For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: And that He died for all, that they which live should not hence-forth live unto themselves, butunto Him which died for them and rose again. Wherefore henceforth, know we no man after the flesh: yea though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we Him more. Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold all things become new. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us unto himself by Jesus Christ and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit that God was in Christ reconciling the world unto Himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God. For He hath made Him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.

It appears through this Epistle writing of the Apostle Paul, that it will not be Our Heavenly Father Almighty God, who will be accusing or condemning us of our alleged sins either.

Since The Holy Bible cannot go against itself: Jesus is not your accuser, and if God Himself neither accuses nor condemns us then Who is left to accuse us?

Since Satan is the author of the LIE and is so extremely deceitful, would God permit a liar to stand as our accuser?

Since neither Almighty God, nor Christ Jesus desire to accuse or condemn us at our day of departure from this world, and since Satan has no Authority to do so, provided we are Baptised, Born Again and Cleansed in the Blood of the Lamb for all time, who is there left to accuse us of anything, and who will condemn us.
