Your Accuser Your Advocate

In a Writing I wrote several months ago entitled: " Does God Still Reveal Himself And His Ways In Our Dreams" I did my best to relate a prophetic revelation that I believe, I received from The Holy Spirit through a dream.

After writing that article I thought my job was done. I thought I had fulfilled that which the Holy Spirit had asked and expected of me.

I felt I’d satisfied God’s Will concerning this revelation, for I had revealed the dream the warning, but, I guess I was wrong, because I still receive it periodically, and I am still being urged and directed to bring it to the attention of any who would read it, and turn away from their sinfulness and follow Christ Jesus, accepting Him as their saviour.

As it bears directly with my topic in this writing, I draw your attention to it.

In JOHN: 5: 22; Jesus tells us that: "For the Father ‘judgeth’ no man but hath committed all judgement unto the Son:"

From this scripture we now know for a certainty that Our Father Almighty God will not judge us, nor judge our fate. Our Father God has designated His Authority for this, solely to Jesus, for it was Jesus who was crucified for the sins of mankind.

In JOHN: 3: 17 again Jesus tells us that: "For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but, that the world through Him might be saved."

Jesus will stand as the "Advocate" for those who, through their faith have given themselves up to Him. As our "Advocate" Jesus become our representative our lawyer if you will. Jesus will also stand as "Advocate" for the non-believer, until they with their own mouth deny Him totally and seal their own fate.

Rest assured, we all know for a certainty who our accusor will be on the day that we will stand before the judgement thrown of God. It will be lucifer/satan who will stand there accusing us of every sin that we as humans have done. Lucifer will accuse the unborn, the babies, the children, and all the unbelievers to Christ, but lucifer has no power to judge or assess judgement, only Jesus can condemn the unbeliever, those that have chosen him or choose to follow lucifer.

Jesus goes on to tell us the following: JOHN: 5: 24, 26-32; "Verily verily I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on Him that sent me, hath everlasting life and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

In the Epistle of Paul to the Ephesians we are told: EPHESIANS: 1: 13; "In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the ‘gospel’ of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ‘ye were sealed’ with that ‘Holy Spirit’ of promise."

In other words the instant that we confess and repent, our sins and turn to Jesus as our saviour and redeemer, accepting His gift to us, His crucifixion, the shedding of His blood, we are cleansed, we are justified, we become sanctified before Almighty God our Father and, God’s Holy Spirit comes into us and seals us for eternity. This Seal place over us is a seal of posession and protection.

"For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself; And hath given him ‘authority’ to execute judgement also, because he is the Son of Man. Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming in the which all that are in the ‘graves’ shall hear his voice, And shall come forth; they that have done good unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation. I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgement is just; because I seek not of mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me. If I bear witness of myself, my witness is not true. There is another who beareth witness of me and I know that the witness that he witnesseth of me is true."

In answer to our opening question as to who will judge those saved, our answer is a resounding nobody. Yes we will stand before the throne of God and the mercy seat. Yes lucifer will stand there reading off a list of our sins, maybe a mile long for some, but Jesus as our advocate will attest to His having been crucified for our sins and the Holy Seal of God will be visible for all to see. Verdict, Not Guilty!
