New Delhi (GR-TYP-BIN): Leader of Opposition and YSR Congress Party Chief Mr. YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said that his party would oppose any anti-people policy of the State and play a constructive role of opposition. The YSRCP Delegation led by him submitted a representation to the Union Home Minister Mr. Rajnath Singh on February 15.
Briefing the media, YS Jagan said that we have given the memorandum on various issues. We have explained the Home Minister how the CRDA Policy is affecting the interests of farmers. We sought the appointment of Prime Minister and Railway Minister to submit our views, he added.
YSRCP Chief stressed that we are opposed to the acquisition of multi-crop land from farmers and will stand by them to protect their interest. He said that no provision was made on special status in the State Reorganisation Bill.
MPs Mithun Reddy, Subba Reddy and party leaders were present on the occasion.
