Kathmandu December 27:
In a brief attempt to create terror in the capital of Nepal, the Ranbir sena exploded two bombs repetitively in the High priority zone of the capital, Kathmandu. The first bomb exploded on Saturday (December 27) in the morning session in front of Tribhuvan Internation Airport (TIA) where as the second bomb exploded on Sunday morning (December 28)around the Durbar School area where both the cases invite no casualties. With the explosion at such a high priority areas, large number of Nepal Police and Armed Police Force (APF) has been mobilized around the TIA and durbar high school.
According to an eye witness “the bomb’ went off with a huge sound, causing a rush of terrified people in the area”
In a telephone interview with Avenues TV from an unknown location, Ranabir Sena Chief Bhagirath Singh said, “The blast was carried out as a warning to the government and the Maoists. They have not responded seriously to his group’s demands that include withdrawal of the constitutional provision to declare Nepal a secular state.”
Police have arrested two persons Sahadev Batar and Lakhindar Batar of Mahottari on suspicion of carrying out a blast near the main entrance of the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) Saturday morning.
The Ranbir Sena is an upcoming Terai outfit group which has been raising voices for the identity and sovereignty of the terai people.
